On Tuesday, FC Bayern München AG CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was appointed to the UEFA Executive Committee as representative of the European Club Association (ECA) by acclamation in Montreux. Rummenigge’s term of office runs until 2024 and he succeeds Andrea Agnelli. The Juventus chairman had vacated the post due to the upheaval of the plans for a Super League, which he had been instrumental in promoting.

Exactly. Its a win-win for them.
JP Morgan is financing most of this damn league. If they get Amazon, Facebook or Apple to pay them for broadcast rights, the momentum and money won't be stopped by anything.

Its a horrible idea. Pure greed. The worst of American style sports entertainment.
Even Champions League as is, is not a good tournament anymore.
