they also beat Brazil A team. (which was the main favorite for the gold before the competition) I don't think they are "this good" normally but they played great in these two matches. we beat Poland A team before. we had a very bad day and they had a great day. they had no pressure. nobody expected them to do anything here. they played so free-spirited. Few weeks earlier in preliminary round, we came really close beating Brazil, even though it was not their first squad (?), Brazil is now obviously more under pressure thanks to Poland than us for sure. We need to utilize on that and remind ourselves that we were very close beating them. These kids can do it. Just more focus and its doable! no that was actually Brazil's A squad. they were only missing their setter Bruno. and if you ask me that was our best match the whole season despite the loss. we played just perfect and Brazil only survived that match because they also played a perfect match.Originally posted by Adesor Vafaseya View Post
IMO we never played in that level again (despite back to back wins) and for beating Brazil we have to bring our A game. Brazil always comes back very strongly after a defeat. they lost to Poland B and I'm sure they are furious and want a big win against us to prove themselves.Comment
