Iran killed it in sanda 9th World CUp! for the 1st time in history china did not win the medal table! But iran did they had 8 atheletes and won 7 gold and 1 silver! All 3 female won gold! Last world cup china had 10 golds but only won 6 this time!

China didn't "win" the medal table only because they didn't want to. they only had 6 competitors and all of them won the gold medal. we only had one direct match with China which we lost. why China didn't want that ? simply because they want to "let" other countries win some medals in their national sport. they want to develop this sport around the world.Originally posted by Ab-Gosht View Post
and btw World Cup is a secondary tournament in Wushu. we have only 4 competitors per weight , the most important competition in the world in this sport is the World Championship and actually only top 4 from the World Champs are allowed to participate here.
medal tables in Wushu are usually fake because of one stupid rule. because each country can only send 5 male athletes (out of 11 men's weight classes) and 3 female athletes (out of 7 woment's weight classes) China usually won all gold medal possible. yeah some of our athletes are capable of beating China. Mohamamdseifi beat them several times before but most of our "World Champions" in Wushu aren't really the best in the world.Comment
