If anyone should feel betrayed, it's CQ, after how he was treated by the Iranian Sports Minister after giving TM/Iran his blood, sweat, and tears. And if you doubt that in a literal sense, take a look at his press conferences and interviews after the loss to Japan: he had tears in his eyes and a injury on his forehead. The man will always be a legend in Iran. Respect him for elevating Iran and TM in the eyes of the world.

We can wish CQ the best.
He did have great impact on IFF and TM. So the guy replacing him will have to be working hard.
CQ could have gotten the cup but he made a mistake and the media and even some guys here made Japan look too big. And also made players fearful of repeating Sattar and Pooladi issues. His tactic of using Azmoon alone in noke hamleh was read by japanese and they did cover him with two or 3 players at a time. That was totally wrong. Ghodos should have started from the beginning. Shoja Khalilzadeh should have been there and not kanani or masood. The fans should have shut up in the stadium at the time the defenders were acting strange and soeone should have told the players to wake up.
CQ in spite of his skills failed in that moment and after. Suddenly sending in two subs was due to being nervous. Khiabani and others here should stop using the word samurai. those guys were not samurai AND Qatar proved that as I expected it.
One thing IFF should have done was to have the contract 6 months longer with stipulation that CQ would help the U23 team after the asian cup regardless of the TM results. That way he would not have lost his concentration.
We have the best possible players but our result does not show it. The next coach will not have a hard time choosing players and he should not be bashful to tell some guys sorry... Against japan Taremi would have made a difference. He would have helped the defenders with his leadership. But thanks to qatari ref who gave him yellow card unfairly.
Anyway we need to close the chapter and start to respect the new coach and stop comparing. Any new coach that keeps the team in good physical condition and has the courage to fine tune the team and be offensive, will produce good results.
Those who think all the results of the TM were solely due to the coach need to understand that the players are the ones who achieved what the coach told them to do.
So stop being pessimistic and don't play dead. CQ is gone but we have Taremi, Sardar, Dej, Karim, Beiranvand, Ghodos, Amiri, .......... so many great players. So if you are pessimistic you can quit reading about TM.
Once again Khiabani and others need to learn not to raise issues about salary and other things that are irrelevant.
Most european coaches drink alcohol and that is not a secret. So if CQ needed drinks he would have to leave Iran and that is one reason he was gone most of the time. Portuguese and Spanish have this culture, so that is why Sanchez can feel comfortable in Qatar for many years. He probably stays there much longer period of time in a year. So bring a Zidan type person if you want a man who is not allowed to bring his own bottle.
Now regarding the 2022 games. Qatar can invest in two training camps in Hormozgan and another location and they can be used in the future by the teams going to Qatar in 2022 and other teams from PGL that use Turkey or south Africa for camp. if the training facility has a great stadium then Qatar can have some matches in Iran from 2022. Now is the time to plan and start doing it.
Qatar football association already said neighbors? which neighbors to share the 2022 games? They discounted those misguided members of the Persian gulf gang. So the only friend they have is iran and it makes sense to do the investment. so having an emergency stadium and training facility would be of great help for Qatar in 2022. They can collect a small fee for anyone using the facility in the future or they can build it as sign of friendship. This will hurt the saudis and others who hate Qatar. I am not sure about the cost of training camp for PP and SS going to europe but have two modern facilities in two great places in Iran would eliminate those expensive trips and would create some local jobs in Iran if the facilities are built.

And here on the forum they saying Carlos Quriouz would be next week back to Iran for contract. Iran had to give CQ from the begin contract until 2022 for Iran. But it is over the Carlos time

What if we meer Carlos Qurioz in World Cup 2022

During world cup 2002 I was in Korea. After Korea's victories, Every Korean lady said they would marry Hiddink if he asked them. He brought proud to Koreans but the referees helped and so did FIFA just to make the N koreans feel bad. it was a political game but there was no doubt that Hiddink had selected a few good players. It is ok to miss CQ so you guys can feel that way but we need to get over it, After Kourish we may have Dariush or Nader shah or someone else. Just be patient

^^ wow you thought of the same thing as I did at the same time.
To add to the drama, just wait as in 2022 we may get to be with Colombia in the same group. CQ will not have any mercy on us. and respectfully our new coach will be ready to defeat CQ's new team. That is the meaning of life.

CQ did teach us all one more thing and that was not to be biased or prejudiced against any player because of his hairstyle, tatoo, or the place he was born and whether his mother was German or American and whether his Farsi was good or bad and whether he prayed 5 times a day or he did not even know one word of Persian or Arabic. He built a team with Ando, Dej, ..... just like the team that freed Khoramshar. Let's remember that lesson whether your name is Karimi, Daei or Mayeli Kohan

Colombia is a good place for CQ from the casual work-rate perspective. Their team famously lost to Japan in Russia 2018. Might have a chance to face off again in this Summer's Copa America (June 14 to July 7 in Brazil).

I love CQ but its no argument to say CQ got a job in Colombia, every team is looking for what they need, there are enough teams in the world that need a coach but didnt look for CQ.

We now need a coach who suits us, someone who doesnt give a shit about names, someone who is respected like a general, someone who stays some years and has a plan, someone who shows us attacking football which TM many years didnt play, i dont accept that argument that we cant attack against strong teams.

Nothing will happen. We play a game of soccer and we win or lose. Did you forget we played USA in the world cup?

Diz, these are serious bilakh pictures for some.
CQ kept his options open, the man knows how to play the game.
Keep calm and believe in Fairies and Footballers Roxanaz

Being in charge of Colombia and Playing the likes of Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany,... must at first come as oblivious to CQ and he needs to get used to that again.

He knew that it would have only been in the World Cup that TM would get a chance to play these caliber teams.
