Alex Ferguson era began in 1986...and he won his first league title in 1993...no turning back since
But the greatest club of all time was the Real Madrid of the 1950s with Alfredo Di Stefano and Ferenc Puskas annihilated everyone in those 10 or so years.
i rekon it was the AC Milan team.
to me one of the best squads i have ever seen. the three dutch boys and the entire italy defence was superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
They did get *****slapped by Maradona's Napoli plenty of times...while Inter was superb as well with Matthaus involved.
barca cruijff era for sure! or maybe i'm a little biased. but koeman will always remain special to me for scoring the winner for the only european cup we had until last season.

That as it may be, the team did win it all.
Fulham beat Chelsea, does that mean Fulham is better????
I would also like to give an honorable mention to the young team of Ajax that beat Milan in the European Cup Final with a goal by a very very very young Kluivert. Ill never forget that match

Napoli won the Scudetto twice in 3 seasons man at that time...they were Milan's biggest threat and while Milan laid claim to Europe, they were not as dominant in Italy thanks to Napoli
I would also like to pay tribute to the great Manchester United side under Sir Matt Busby in the 1960s, that first survived the Munich air crash and then became perhaps the best club in Europe at that time, when they dethroned Eusebio's Benfica in THAT European Cup final in Wembley when George Best PWNED them.
You dont get a team good enough that contained Nobby Stiles, Bobby Charlton, and George Best now do you ?
