Actually Kovac took over when the team was at its best, thanks to the discipline that Velasco instilled in them.Originally posted by _Navid_ View PostOur team went downhill since our players arranged a coup against Kovac. Our best ever performances will always be 2013-2014 under him.
Kovac wasn't good enough, and he simply took advantage of Velasco's hard work, which makes it look like it was Kovac that was good. However, he didn't improve the team in any way, which is why everything went downhill by the time he left.
P.S. I dreamed last night that we beat Poland. So let's see if this happens!

I have to disagree. Velasco did a great job but he couldn't even take us to the Olympics or 2nd round of world league.Originally posted by Bessos View PostActually Kovac took over when the team was at its best, thanks to the discipline that Velasco instilled in them.

During Kovac we reached top 6 of world champs and top 4 of world league and beat every single power house with stunning matches. Something I doubt would be repeated again.
