It is possible that we will have two iranian-blooded 100m sprinters in the Olympic semi-final/finals!

If anyone saw Adam Gemili's relay leg this world champs, you know how fast that guy is. Okay he is half-iranian, but he is a really nice guy and proud of both sides of his heritage.

Oh, we had Ehsan Haddadi, but he didn't make it [emoji17]
Haddadi had a surgery just few months ago, this result was therefore expected.
I want to see what he will do next year, if he is finally free from injuries.

He recently won the Gold at the Asian Championships this June in India, upsetting the 'Qatari' Femi Ogunode
If the hot weather was a cause for sub-par performances on the opening day, it was the turn of torrential rain to play spoil sport on the second day of the Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, India, on Friday (7).

In France the tenniswomen, Aghavane Rezaei help him as a translator.

His current french coach finds his previous trainings and way of running "unclassic"

He was in Hossein Balt's heat. These starting blocks are a bit odd though, and Taftian struggled in the start.

Still, it's good to have an iranian up there!

London 2017 World Championships: Taftian finished 5th in his heat with a time of 10.34s in the 100m and didn't qualify for the semi-finals. Disappointing.

started a topic Hassan Taftian, Iranian sprinter

    Hassan Taftian, Iranian sprinter

He is now training in France, coached by Guy Ontanion (ex coach of Jimmy Vicaut).
In the video in the first link, we can see it is aiming to develop his muscles and gain more power. He wants to run under 10 s and aim a medal in the next Olympics or World championships. Recently, He didn't run well in Baku.

    Thanks @lequipe @INSEP_PARIS #hassantaftian #lequipe #insep #athletics #iran #ontanonteam
