Honestly non of the above teams you mentioned are easily beatable by Iran.

So you truly believe we can beat a team like Chile at ease? When you use such term, it literally means we can beat Chile exactly how we beat the likes of Pakistan, India, Maldives etc.

LOL what?! None of those teams are easily beatable, they're all more or less on our level with the exception of Haiti. I'd have my money on Iran against most of those teams, but it doesn't mean it would be easy.

Chile? We beat them in a friendly, they won the copa america last year so calm down man, Austria is rly good, they smashed Sweden big time, Iceland is great under Lagerbäck, Romania player really well yesterday, calm down buddy..

We might beat some of those team and be on the same level as some of them, but not many of them are 'easily beatable' to Iran.

Iran can beat any team in this world, but to claim we would beat all the listed teams with ease and would be favorites is pretty ignorant. You just picked countries that might not be well-known in the football world, but if you actually take a closer look at most of them you will realize they are not pushovers.

Austria has plenty of players in Bundesliga & EPL with David Alaba being their superstar. Chile with Sanchez, Vidal and others playing in Spain, Italy, England, Germany...you are taking "friendly" games way too serious!

You can say "we would have a good chance", but let's not exaggerate.

I would say we have a shot and would expect us to compete well in all three matches, not that we would advance with ease

baba when did I say with ease, I said would you expect them to come out... I would.. Under cq and our current crop of young players I believe we can get 4 to 7 points in a group like this

How we would perform against Austria is very difficult to answer. In a competitive game, Austria will be favorites just because of their squad filled with decent legionnaires. However I wouldn't cross us off. Austria are known to go all out attack in the first 15 minutes. I think we would stand a chance against them, if we don't concede a goal.

Usually, Austria don't take friendlies very seriously. In their latest friendlies, they lost against Netherlands, Switzerland and Turkey at home and had close wins against Albania and Malta.
