they stll have their 2014 and 2013 World Champion Albegov, as well as 85kg world champion Okulov. with also Bedzhanyan at 85. no it doesn't come down only to freestyle wrestlingOriginally posted by Ab-Gosht View Posttheir world champion in +105kg is banned for doping so really it comes down to freestyle wrestling
but as I said before, Russia most probably will be banned in weightlifting and this is a different story than their general ban,IWF wants to ban them separately.

Just an opportunist, whereas Tahmasbi had hard luck in his career but he is a good guy.Originally posted by Narse View Postit smells like another kurdish separatist! tahmaesbi very likely also a separatist.
Nothing comparable to the likes of bastard traitors such as traitor Iman Jamali, and bigheyrat Milad Beigi.

no they are not, Tahmasebi won world medals for Iran but when he lost in Beijing 2008, Bana clearly told him he has no place in Bana's future plans. as much as I trust and adore Bana, that was a mistake to let him go.Originally posted by Narse View Postit smells like another kurdish separatist! tahmaesbi very likely also a separatist.
Shariati on other hand was a nobody in Iran, this is sad but those Azerbaijanis have scoots in Iran to find our talents !! they found Beigi the same way, and in both Greco-Roman wrestling and taekwondo they have Iranian coaches which help them to know and find our talents better.

Not sure, if no Russia then it may have been enough, or at least possible while Hashemi guy is far from any medal even without Russia and KAZ.Originally posted by Ab-Gosht View Postso molaei was cut from olympics! He was in descent shape and could have lifted 195kg and 250kg but it was unlikely to be enough for medal perhaps 4th-5th
Moreover +105Kg is weak if you don't consider top 3 or top 5, after this you have a lot of guys from the same level separated by 1 kilos between all of them.
And Molaei is young, when he will recover fully from his injury he will be a threat for years in this weight (plus I hope they will bring back the young Kazeminejad), so at least he would gain experience for next Olympics while it will be useless to send Hashemi if he can't medal. I hope that they have a solid reason for this choice, otherwise it is another big mistake for the Olympics, something our sport officials and coaches are used to.

Actually he had a decent chance for bronze behind Salimi and Talakhadze (assuming they will ban Russia and Albegov), to me it was a mistake , they prbably didn't consider banning Russia at all. 94kg is also weak since top 4 from 2015 Worlds will miss Rio most probably ! (3 of them failed the test and ther other one is from Belarus and most probably will be banned) still Hashemi needs a big bgi result to fight for bronze.Originally posted by Ab-Gosht View Postso molaei was cut from olympics! OH NOOO!!!
Now that Russians are out, I was pretty sure we would've repeated Gold and Silver in 105+ kgs same as London2012.
I don't understand why they cut Molaei out..! Could it be injury or something?CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php
