i had a feeling we were gonna lose to China, i just didnt wanna say it before the game. I just didnt see that Chamionship mentality from these guys this year. The previous years you could see it in them, not this year. Our basketball has a long way to go honestly. The fact that we cant hit 3s OR defend them is what will always make us lose to good teams.

Cleaning up my closet and I am looking at the three game worn jersies I have and the middle one could have saved us today. With the federation acting the way they are, this might be the last time he ever wore this jersey for us. We need a change at the top.

even though AK could have help us a lot in this tournament, but i do not think it would have made a difference in the outcome. we lack the offensive power today, today was the day we need to make jump shots. also as a team we play with very low iq and we can't execute plays.

the only player that is close to professional is Samad, the rest are garbage on the team. he is the only one who can read the plays and execute close to international level

that is why i was so pissed when they lost to Philippines!! a win over philippines would have guarantee us a final ticket. i rather have China in the final game then in the Semifinal. The was the game we should have won

I had the same feeling Eky jaan. We just didn't have what it takes to claim the championship and lift the trophy in this tournament, you could tell from the start of the tourney. Seemed like our players weren't all that enthusiastic and motivated!?

the pieces are there, but we just could not find a way to put them together. also i think we need to really work on "fundamentals". pour basketball 101. I was sad that we could not shot any balls today and we had airballs left and right!! at this leave it is unacceptable

I love filipinos, i have a lot of friends too. Im talking about their basketball that is basically like a Qatar, naturalized players and shit. I hate teams in any sport that do this. There is a reason we have International tournaments and it needs to be the people of that country. Its not club sports to have people of different countries in one team.

well I hope this was a nice slap to the face of iran basketball federation for being "yek dandeh"!! we need a reform in that federation, come to think of it this was our Golden Generation that really should have had more championships, but they failed and no one is to blame but federation.

we still would have lost to china in the final....doesnt change that much. silver or bronze..only gold counted
