Really bad news, but we have some good news too: Iran beats UAE 3:0 in the Under 23 world championship.

We finished last in the Poland tournament, defeated by France, Poland and Japan.

But in the end of the day, friendlies are friendlies, this was not a competitive match. Of course this is rather worrying, but I am still confident about the World Cup next month.

Our men are most likely heading for Russia tomorrow. I expect the match between Iran and the Netherlands to take place on wednesday.
