what does that mean? if you mean players who have 2 passports who are good....there are none, I would know.

that is because you are not looking, when you are not looking and do not follow you would miss them, few players that have came and gone and should have been invited for TM were:

1) Ali Farokhmanish
2) Mike Rostamapour
3) There was a guy who was playing for Cincinnati Wild Cats back in 2008, he was pretty good, Iman something

these are the ones off top of my head, these players who have grown up in US and have gone through the High school, NCAA systems at the very least could be a good back up. there mentality is strong, their skills are developed compare to our players in iran.

Also we need to go after basketball players who have married an Iranian. I know particularly a player who is a former Louisville star married an Iranian and now plays in La Liga of Spain basketball.

we need to use all the resources we have to improve our team and not rely only in the home grown. Almost all teams in the world are using foreign players in the roster, why can't we do the same? it is 2015 and players move around and pick up citizenship of countries.

But about the national team ur knowledge is close to 0 if ur comparing urself to me in that area... I really hope Arsalan makes a decision to come play for Iran, this is the age he is in his prime and can achieve glory. Kazemi belongs to the starting lineup of our national team.

number 8 needs time to see if he progresses. Good player overall but too many turnovers and uncontrolled plays. He could be also in my list though because he showed many good things too. Ali Allahverdi is his name 195cm, 1996

One of them Yousufvand who got interest from all the top NCAA programs including Duke...but its not sure yet if he can go....especially, he needs to improve his english, so probably he will go to a prep school first.
Bottom line, we do have good talents.

Yes they did lost to them but they played some excellent games against high level teams. Egypt has some good talents also but Iran was better. Unlucky that they lost that game. I watched all matches. As I said, Yousofvand will try to leave Iran for the states...lets see what happens. 2 more players have the talent but there is a problem. I talked to some youth players. They make too much money in Iran to leave ...and for some players/families, money is important.

By the way, there's more excellent young players and I know....if you'd be interested in basketball, you'd know. Mohammad Yousofvand 207cm C 1996, Navid Rezayifar 191cm SG 1996, Behnam Yakhchali 197cm SG 1995, Arman Zangeneh 202cm PF 1993, Saleh Foroutannik 207cm PF/C 1994...we have some good players, I am not worried, even if it remains to be seen if Yousofvand can develop into a world class player or not as he is still young

Maybe they're not shit but I haven't seen anything that great from them they even lost to Egypt. They need to take the kazemi route if they stay in Iran they won't develop much.

The bball youth teams look pretty shitty when haddadi, Afagh, kamrani, nikkah bahrani retire we are pretty screwed. They should probably look at finding basketball dejagah's and gucci's I know for a fact there are some good Iranian high school and college players in Canada and the u.s and I'm sure there are some in Europe.
