the main issue last season was the absence of modric, and carlo's defensive tactics were poor, for example against juve after ronaldo scored that pk, we should have sat back and defended and im sure we would have scored on the counter. also bale was piss poor last year, im sure he will be superb in a central role this year.

sitting back and defending doesnt work too well these days and its risky especially when it gets to the last minutes. Also you need the players that will participate in defense and bale, ronaldo, benzema arent the type to do that for over half the game.

yea i forgot how shit their group was lol....shakhtar and malmo wont do shit against them, psg could pull some upsets. im actually surprised how quiet RM have been this transfer window. after not winning anything i'd thought they would splurge. i think in the next few days they'll land someone for sure.

Real squad is impressive but I am not impressed by Benitez as a coach.

i still dont understand how they could fire ancelotti for benitez. Especially how much a failure he was at Napoli. Choked on several occassions but i guess just like Argentina NT everyone wants to blame higuain for the team shortcomings
