? Very smart, educated woman who's family had business in Egypt. Nasser wanted to stop the imperialist influence the west was having on Egypt and the Middle East as a whole, from the creation of the artificial modern state of Israel, to the thirst for Middle Eastern oil. He led a revolution and military coup that kicked the British out of Egypt for good and ended the monarchy under the corrupt King Farouk. He actually had a horrible relationship with Saudi and Arab leaders from the Gulf until King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Part of his goal was to unite the entire Arab world, even though Egypt isn't as "Arab". His goal was political, and meant for the benefit of the nations in the region, and his goal was to include Iran in this new Middle East order. His vision, in his own words, was to, "Have breakfast in Cairo, lunch in Jerusalem, and dinner in Tehran".
