    Starts tommorow

    A sixth crown at the world championships for Hamid Soryan would also place him second only to the legendary Alexander KARELIN (RUS) on the list of most Greco-Roman world championship titles.

        changed the title from WC to World Championship to avoid confusion with the Wrestling World Cup (which we won earlier this year in both GR and FS).

            this year FILA awarded the world championship to be organized by the newly estbalished "United World Wrestling".

            Also since earler this tear, FILA changed the weight categories for both freestyle and greco-roman. New weights have been added (8 categories) and they differ in classification from one another (between FS and GR that is).

                no it's the same thing FILA just changed their name formally to UWW, it's the same ppl/organization. the name "FILA" will be no more. all part of a rebranding strategy as getting saved in the olympics is not permanent, only until after 2020, then up for elimination again if not improved.

                      as far as I know the name "FILA" will still exist as the governing body and United World Wrestling will be a Marquee of FILA
