Ecuador has been an up and coming nation in the CONMEBOL. They have made 2 of the last 3 world cups and are poised to make this next one in Brazil. It is very unfortunate to see one of their best players die like this.

Christian Benitez died after playing 1 game in Qatar during the summer. After reading the story, it feels like he could have been saved, because he did not receive immediate attention... IN A HOSPITAL IN QATAR! This event will go against Qatar hosting the 2022 WC, if a soccer player such as Chucho Benitez can't receive medical attention right away in Qatar, are the players from the 32 other nations going to be able to get help when they need it?

good point, i feel the exact same way. but still, i very highly doubt that FIFA will give qatar any consequence
