What a game by Arsalan against a hot-shooting UTSA team. If u see his rebounds were down last night was just because the UTSA was shooting everything from everywhere so there barely was much rebounds to get, and another reason is that he is playing a different style of defense in Oregon compared to Rice. He guards the perimeter more and even guards PG's and SG's off the pick n rolls. Thus he is playing a bit far from the basket to get that number of rebounds he did in Rice.

WITHOUT A DOUBT, he is the best player on a good Oregon team and i'm happy he has made everyone know this in only his first 5 games. His pick n roll defense is absolutely tremendous and the quick hands are really a nightmare for PG's of the pick & roll.

Also he is slowly getting into the flow and getting more touches on the offensive end. He got 9 shots last night(which most were dunks and others were layups). That's a good sign that his teammates trust him as a finisher on the team.

Where he needs to improve his game is really his jump shot, that's exactly why he isn't that effective on 1 on 1 situations, because the defender gives him some cushion to shoot the ball over therefore Arsalan has a tough time driving past him. Once he gets a good jumper in himself, be sure that he is gonna be a starter in the NBA.

The announcers were full of praise for AK and repeatedly were analyzing how he can be a major factor in the PAC-12 conference games.

The 2 dazzling highlights of the game were both from Arsalan. First one was a massive volleyball spike kinda block on a big mans driving layup that the Arena went like Ooooooooooohhhh. Second one was a Pure Nastyyyyyyy reverse dunk after a pick & roll steal in the open court. His teammates were going crazy on the bench after the huge dunk.

Next Saturday December 8th wanna go to the game Mo? Washington is close to Eugene. Let's go! Arsalan will hook us up with tickets. Although I haven't told him yet. He will be very surprised

his BEST game so far...20 pts, 4 assist, 5 steals, 3 blocks, 6 rebs......8-9 shooting, 4-4 free throw
