Here is an article on the FIBA webpage about AK, he says that he probably won't be training with the National Team and thus not participating in the Asian Championship because of the NBA Summer League.

From the top 40 it looks like he is #4 in rebounds P40, also his Steals per 40 is #1 in NCAA, incredible. Idk if anyone mentioned this but vs UTSA he was 2 blocks and an assist away from a 5x5 game!!! I dont know how rare that is in NCAA (basketball reference has no single game finder for NCAA) but only 5 players have ever done that in a non OT game in the NBA. Is this guy the next k1rilenko?! Man if he was 6'9" I swear he'd be a first rounder

if anyone can contact arsalan tell him next time you get 5 steals (really the hardest part of the 5x5 and hes done it 3 times already this year ) start looking to get a couple blocks and assists...if he can get a 5x5 it should get him a ton of national exposure

Good to see Arsalan start his double-double engine last night. 11 and 13 was nice though he was a bit shaky around the rim finishing the plays.

Looking at AK's stats so far in his first 6 games as a duck we see he is averaging these numbers...

Minutes: 24.3 MPG Points: 9 PPG Rebounds: 9.5 RPG Assists: 1.2 APG Steals: 3.7 SPG Blocks: 0.7 BPG Turnovers: 2 TOPG
FG%: 55.6% FT%: 73.7%

According to the NCAA National Basketball Stats he is ranked 4th in steals in the nation and is ranked 31st in Rebounds Nationally. http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/stats

On a side note it's good to keep in mind that Kazemi is playing 5/6 of the minutes he averaged last year with Rice, so if u want to know the calculation he would be averaging 10.9 PPG ,11.5 RPG and 4.44 SPG(would be ranked #1 in the country) given the amount of time on the floor that he represented Rice last year.(29.4 MPG)

As the conference games start in January he will surely be getting major minutes i guess...
