I watched the whole game guys.
Arsalan played incredibly well, he played for 21 minutes and had 5 points,7 rebounds(2 offensive boards),2 steals and 1 assist. He was fantastic on the defensive end and hustling all over the floor. The Pac-12 announcer was praising his game from the word go and said he would be getting huge minutes sooner than anyone can think of.
He was 2/2 from the field, the first one being a putback dunk and the second one an incrediblyyyy athletic alley-oop layup that the announcer went like: "Oh my ..."
All in all he was great, the only thing i saw in the last minutes of his presence on the court was a bit of being gased out due to his lack of playing time this recent months(He hadn't played in an official game since late march which makes it 8 months!!). So he was a bit late in defensive rotations and help defense and didn't go up to challenge his other teammates opponents(which i think was because he is smart enough not to get in foul trouble and make others think he is foul prone like HH is in Memphis).
Oregon easily beat Vanderbilt last night, despite losing 6 players to the NBA this year and becoming a less competetive team,Vandy is still Vandy. They got an easy game on Monday but the real test of their season so far comes against No.18 nationally ranked team, UNLV on Friday. Huge game that will be presented on CBS sports and can catch a lot of eyes so AK better put in his full effort for that important game.
Edit: Here is his coach Dana Altman postgame interview: http://www.goducks.com/mediaPortal/p...&DB_OEM_ID=500
He praises AK's game so much between the 3:00 and 4:30 minute mark..

Once again i was able to see the game, he is really a beast defensively with his quick and active hands. His alley-oop dunk was the play of the game according to the pac-12 network, it was a nice cut from the middle of the circle to the hoop. Offensively he is still not able to get the looks he wants because he's pretty new to the team's systems and sets, also they have 6-11 center(Woods) which mostly gets a lot of looks inside and is a horrible passer(pretty selfish i guess). Thus Arsalan hasn't got his chances on the offensive end yet, but as his coach Dana Altman said, they will make him have better looks at the basket as soon as his conditioning gets on a desired level, he will get better that's for sure.
And yes for sure he is an ideal second round pick for now. He has to work really hard and give everything he has this year to get in the top 30 and the first round of the picks. They have a very very important game against UNLV which is ranked 18th currently in national polls. A win at UNLV will probably make Oregon ranked in the top 25 teams which is pretty huge. Hope AK14 brings his best game on Friday night

Im going to the unlv oregon game today at six. David rice...coach of unlv, called kazemi the best offensive rebounder in the country and had praise for him.
However, if hes guarded by mike moser...its gonna be a tough time for ak.... And my school pride says its gonna be a cake walk for unlv

What a game seriously , Kazemi had a very good game. he played 30min coming from the bench with 7points 2 assist , 3 steals and 2 rebound. I think the coach wants him to play more defensive than offensive for now.
on the side note, they really have a good team with Damyean Dotson and Carlos Emory ... they killed it tonightLast edited by PouriaAkaBarut; 11-23-2012, 09:45 PM.sigpic
