very unlucky, we went in to this event with two gold medal hopefuls but came out with one bronze. rostami almost had it too..he won the worlds but finished third in this Olympics. we have many medal hopefuls in free style and greco roman wrestling hopefully that will make it a good Olympics for us.

Hopefully, since our first strong sport was today and we won a medal, our future even stronger sports should give us more medals, hopefully a couple of gold medals

Otherwise you would have ruined this threads for others and more warnings etc would come!

Please keep cool head and move on.

Rostami's medal will now take pressure off other iranian athlets a bit.
Its always important to grab a medal of any color just to break the ice.

    Damesh garm!
    Made me proud.

No medal so far, Roudaki out injured...

What else can you expect from a country where sports, like everything else, are in a catastrophic state.
From page 2 of this thread. lol

Everything is a disaster. Its always a catastrophe.

    You're right Asghar Agha Jan.
I lost control because he ruined what should have been a 100% celebration topic with his comments.

    OK!
I may not be the most optimist person on earth, but in this thread I merely posted what IRIB expert said on live TV.

And the IRIB expert was a former Olympic champion in weightlifting.
I mean, when you accuse me of being a pessimist for posting an Olympic champions comments, then what can I say?!

    Anyway, begzarim.

I appologize to other members for engaging in a yek-o-do with this guy and ruining a happy topic.
