I was referring more to Schweinsteiger's miss, but in all fairness it was a magnificent save by Cech to tip the ball onto the post.Originally posted by yashar_fasihnia View Postlol... 4 germans took a penalty, 3 of them converted including the GK himself and the 4th hit the post. 2 non germans took penalties, both missed

Chelsea seemed to have all the luck in the world yesterday. I can't remember the last time a team was so lucky and got dominated so much, at least not in a final. A final where the 2 best teams of the tournament are supposed to play, but only Bayern was playing real football.
Overall it was a sad day for the football world and just proved again that justice does not even exist in football. Congrats to Chelsea though, as history only remembers the winners and that was simply a miracle they will never forget.
Here are some pics of the public viewing in Munich.
Sadly the long, annoying and painful trip to get there was unnecessary at the end, but well...

I missed watching it on tape delay in Iran as I was busy that day preparing my marriage proposal to a fellow student at Sharif University.

This was truly one of the saddest days for soccer as teams ranked 173rd and 167th played the final which was won by a team ranked 136th.

u do realize that he single handedly gave away penalties to barca and bayern only for some others to save his @$$ namely messi, robben and cech???Originally posted by Keano View PostBayern Munich did not deserve to lose, they surely were the better team, creating much more opportunities.
Drogba was was the super star of Chelsea, he single handedly brought the Championship to Chelsea
BM players crying and in total shock!

It could have been worse, it could have been Arash Borhani taking it.
