ایران مقابل قطر به برتری رسید
تیم ایران در دومین دیدار خود در چارچوب رقابت های بسکتبال قهرمانی آسیا مقابل قطر به برتری رسید.

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، ایران به عنوان مدافع عنوان قهرمانی این رقابت ها که در روز نخست با نتیجه 49 بر 37 از سد چین تایپه گذشته بود، امروز جمعه در حالی که در کوراتر نخست با نتیجه 40 بر 4 از حریف خود پیش بود قطری ها به دلیل اینکه مجوز بازی پنج بازیکن تبعه این کشور صادر نشد، از بازی با ایران دست کشیدند و ایران با 4 امتیاز در صدر گروه دوم قرار گرفت. ایران در سومین بازی خود فردا شنبه با ازبکستان دیدار خواهد کرد.

بیست و ششمین دوره رقابتهای بسکتبال قهرمانی مردان آسیا از 24 شهریورماه تا 3 مهرماه در ووهان چین برگزار میشود. تیم نخست این رقابتها به طور مستقیم به بازیهای المپیک 2012 لندن صعود میکند. ایران مدافع عنوان قهرمانی است.

حسن نوربخش پس از كنار كشيدن قطر از مسابقه با ايران تاكيد كرد: سه تيم ايران، چين تايپه و ازبكستان نمايندگان گروه B در مرحله دوم هستند.

سرپرست تيم ملي بسكتبال* ايران در گفت و گو با خبرنگار ورزشي خبرگزاري دانشجويان ايران (ايسنا)، اظهار كرد: پنج بازيكن قطر كه جديدا به تابعيت اين كشور درآمده*اند، كارت مسابقه دريافت نكرده بودند. با صحبت*هايي كه كادر فني تيم ملي قطر با مسئولان رقابت*ها داشتند، قرار بود كارت مسابقه اين پنج بازيكن پيش از ديدار ايران يا حداقل تا كوارتر نخست صادر شود، اما به اين دليل كه قطري*ها تا انتهاي كوارتر نخست نيز نتوانستند از اين پنج بازيكن استفاده كنند، از ادامه مسابقه كنار كشيدند.

وي درباره شرايط كنوني تيم ملي نيز گفت: ما با اين پيروزي چهار امتيازي شديم و در صدر جدول قرار داريم. قطري*ها نيز دو شكست دارند و طبق قانون نمي*توانند سومين بازي خود را برگزار كنند، با اين شرايط ايران، چين تايپه و ازبكستان به عنوان سه نماينده از گروه B به مرحله دوم صعود خواهند كرد.

نوربخش درباره عملكرد بازيكنان نيز گفت: حريف از بازيكنان كاملش استفاده نمي كرد، اما ما نسبت به بازي گذشته هماهنگ*تر بوديم و بايد از اين پس تمركزمان را بر روي بازي سوم و پس از آن مرحله دوم بگذاريم.

وي همچنين افزود: با نتيجه*اي كه امروز كره جنوبي برابر لبنان گرفت، فكر مي*كنم در مرحله دوم رقابت*ها كه ايران با اين دو تيم هم گروه است، ديدارهاي بسيار دشواري پيش روي بلندقامتان ايراني باشد.

Qatar fouls itself out in FIBA protest

WUHAN, China: Referees were forced to halt an opening Asian Championship match between Qatar and Uzbekistan Thursday, when four of the five Qatari players purposely fouled out in protest of a FIBA ruling.

The four players committed five personal fouls each within the first six minutes of the match, prompting referees to disqualify them and hand Uzbekistan a 27-12 win.

According to match rules, referees must halt play if one team cannot field at least two players.

Qatari coach Ali Fakhroo said the fouls were committed in protest of an International Basketball Federation (FIBA) ruling making five of the team’s 11 players ineligible for the championships due to their dual nationality, Xinhua news agency said.

Fakhroo said his team would protest in the same way during its Friday match against Iran.
