I read an article that said if FIFA does not get its act together and address massive problems like diving, technology, replay, match fixing, refreeing corruption inside fifa. it will lose it status as the world's number 1 sport.
American leagues like NBA and NFL are heavily expanding into europe and asia. I think NFL is going to have league games in Wembley and NBA is the most popular league in china.

While at the same time look at soccer, Qatar clearly bought the world cup, diving is rampant in every league, god knows how many matches are fixed, FIFA and UEFA are corrupt as ****, There is no competition in the top leagues and champions league. The players rising salary due to the influx of dirty arab money have made it impossible for small teams to succeed.

I'm like you myself, I've been following Inter with Love and passion since a really young age and I actually got really emotional when they won the Champions league last yar! But Whoever you ask these days, they're either Barca or Man U fans.. anyways, not to get off topic, I like how honest you were because I know for a fact that Barca play the best football in the world and its just a Joooy to watch them! But now that other teams are trying to get up to par with them, they use these controversial ways to get their way. Now the only difference between any top european team and Barcelona is Messi. Enough said. You know as well as I do, that that is true.

You cant deny that most of Barca's squad is the same squad that won the world cup for spain. As a matter of fact, one of the main reasons why messi is scoring so many goals is because of the passes being fed to him by midfield maestros like xavi and iniesta. Though he's an astounding players, Barcelona is not a one man team, if anything their successes with largely due to their astonishing teamwork and knowledge of each other's football mentality. This is a big reason why they manage to pick each other out when one of them makes a run, and how they successfully establish their one-touch passing game.

I personally am not a bandwagoner. I've followed barca since i was 9 but now that they have been putting down all other conpetetors everyone begins to call barca fans bandwagoners. And to be honest after seeing those barca players for so many years the only time i was angry at their actions was this season, but they made up for it with beautiful play and very few fouls, opposite of other teams who know they wont get the ball from barca and instead of even attempting, they resort to excessively physical play.
