The trouble here is that you people always impore us to keep sport and politics separate. Then you go and pair up a trashy religious song to a video of Iranian athletes, for what appears to be religious propaganda purposes.

I am talking about mixing religion with sport for cynical purposes in the manner that the IR does. I am not talking about the personal beliefs of people, rather the theocracy and implementation of religion in every aspect of public life that ruins society.

and what exactly has Iran's national team achieved since 1979? Yes, we were lucky with Daei, Mahdavikia, e.t.c for a brief period with a good generation...but now our football is on a par with Qatar's.

Yea!
I dont say that everybody has got to be a moslem or so! Or believ in anything.
everybody has got to descide for himself.
But the best thing is to read about religion. Not only Islam. What do they mean with their rules in religion.
Example: U are against religion. So why arent u allowed to kill somebody? These rules where first in religion, then people saw its a good law so lets take it in our society!

The thing i want to say:
Dont listen to the people who say:
1) Religion is very very bad.
2) Religion is the best.
Do researches for urself, read the facts of the books, the history and so on.

Religion is apart of every live! And our people are mazhabi. mazhabi doesnt mean they are all Basiji or Akhoonds or very religios. It just means that they believe in something!
Example: Kaveh Ahangar says that our people arent religios. Take a look to Imam Reza (Mashhad) or all other Imamzadeh in Iran. U see People the hole year coming and visiting! Just open ur eyes!
