Florentino Perez Admits The Loss To Barcelona Was The Worst In Real Madrid History

he is right though, I saw the other classic we beat Madrid 5-0 and no way it can be compared to this, that game was not as one-sided as this one!

I'm sure that Premier League fans will dismiss that claim and Real Madrid fans will point to stats based upon the fact that their side won the European Cup five times in a row in the 1950's.

But the game has moved on, and it is much harder for a team to monopolise European and domestic competition in the way that it once was: elite level players share similar levels of fitness and physicality, teams know all abut their rivals these days and the widespread professionalisation of the game has levelled the playing field.

This Barcelona side has won eight of the last 10 competitions they have competed in and has there ever been a club side that can boast eight world champions in their squad?

In the past we have seen teams dominate domestically or in Europe, but who can begrudge a side that fields nine youth academy graduates compared to those whose success has been a consequence of superior spending power.

Is there any team in the modern game to compare?
This team is the best ever no doubt.
The extent to which the team presses when they don't have the ball is the key to their success. I saw Real the other day raping Ajax and getting the ball back so soon because of team presssing but against Barca they couldn't do that because of players we got who pass perfectly and keep the ball in tightest of spaces. And Barca's pressing made Real look worse than a 2nd division team.

I know Ramos lost his cool, but you can't expect Messi's teammates to just observe while Ramos tries to break Messi's leg, regardless of whether they are friends from Spain national team or not, this game is so important and sometimes emotions can be too much.
Like you rarely see Xavi or Iniesta getting into a fight
I was cracking up whn that happened. Looks like Messi is not the most popular dude on that team otherwise his budies would of stepped in. For God sakes he is the star of that team therefore my conclusion he must be a di*k.

Matrid's defense had more holes than swiss cheese. I am not a huge Barca fan but I'll take them over Real Madrid just beause I love to watch that overrated Euro greaseball Ronaldo lose.
Ramos wat a cheapshot on Messi. Man it was an all out brawl at the end of the game. I don't think Ramos is a dirt player I think he just lost his cool in the heat of the battle of a rivalry game.

You got to love El Classico baby especailly if you are kind of neutral like me. I just hope for an entertaining game and it was lol if you are a Barca fan.

    Nice job Barca congragulations.
