neither messi nor xavi deserve it ahead of sneijder or even robben for that matter although i dont rate sneijder a better player than messi or xavi! but in the end, its about accomplisments
sneijder and robben did much more for both club and country than xavi or messi

i was just going to type that but since i see u've already posted it im just going to thank u. LOL. But let it be known, I still think sneijder played better than messi last year. messi had some incredible games! but at times he had bad ones too.. sneijder's every single game was outstanding.

2. Nobody is doubting that Xavi or Iniesta are great players that had good seasons. But Xavi did not have his best year as a footballer in the past year, and he did not play a decisive role in the outcome of the World Cup final. Sure, he contributed, but truth is that Spain would have won even if Xavi didn't play, while Sneijder has been the integral reason for Inter's and Hollands success during 2009/2010.
