don't get it twisted, Yao is actually a very skillful player for his size.. the sad thing is the guy has been hammered down with injuries... what gets me furious is that the fans vote for the guy that has BARELY played V.S a guy that is having an outstanding season
i have a feeling those dam Chinese ppl back in China and here in U.S. had a thing to do with it. i mean a right person with a right mind wouldn't vote for a guy that is not out on a floor every night hahaha it just doesn't make sense.

Why blame the fans? Blame the NBA for even putting him on the ballot. If Haddadi was on Yao's level and was in Yao's shoes right now, you wouldn't vote for him? I sure would...Originally posted by Ghormeh Sabzi View Postdon't get it twisted, Yao is actually a very skillful player for his size.. the sad thing is the guy has been hammered down with injuries... what gets me furious is that the fans vote for the guy that has BARELY played V.S a guy that is having an outstanding season

no, blake and yao are different positions, carmelo was the one who stole blake/loves spot...but actually yao getting voted on is the best thing that couldve happened because thats basically another spot open for one of those 2 guys, if nene got voted in he would have actually gone and taken up a spotOriginally posted by ali alipour View Postwow wtf that's actually bullshit a guy who has played 5 game this season averaging 10 points should not be starting in the all star game. He took the spot of like an true all star like blake griffin

its simple how yao got in. we should know since iranians are notorious for internet mafias. chinese people, or far east asians are very fond of him. They make up a huuuuuge portion of the earth's population...so why wouldnt the nba have this as a popularity contest? yao isnt going to play anyways so its not even a big deal

but nene deserves to be in for what he has done so far this year... don't you agree?Originally posted by nypimpofpersia34 View Postno, blake and yao are different positions, carmelo was the one who stole blake/loves spot...but actually yao getting voted on is the best thing that couldve happened because thats basically another spot open for one of those 2 guys, if nene got voted in he would have actually gone and taken up a spot
i agree i think NBA should have taken his name off the ballet, makes no sense that his name was on the ballet in first place. if Yao is voted in then i vote for Greg Oden that guy will OWN Yao any night in my opinionOriginally posted by NimzJ View PostWho said it's fair?

and to answer the last part of your post:
tell you the truth no, might be hard to believe but as a nba fan I vote for who i think is playing very well.. as much as i dislike Howard i started voting for him soon as Noah went down with the injury. before the injury i thought Noah was playing an all star level and unfortunately he went down with the injury so i stopped voting for him and the next guy on that list that i thought should be in the all star game was howard.. same with Booz i didn't start voting for booz till like couple weeks after he came back and was just playing great basketball.
i wouldn't vote for hammed god forbid if he was in Yaos situation. just wouldn't be fair.

i hope so but idk which team would want him, he doesnt do shit on the court, for a guy his size if u cant get more than 1 reb in over 10 min. and u cant score or block shots, then wtf are u good for? lol

It aint all his fault, we all know how bad Memphis coaching is. Lets be honest Grizzlies got tons of talent, Zbo, Gasol and Gay are monsters while Mayo has it in him to be a top SG in NBA but look at them they are barely a 500 team. Thabeet aint that bad he got some raw talent he needs a bit of good coaching to be a legit back up center for a team like Heat or Blazers.Originally posted by EKBATAN View Posti hope so but idk which team would want him, he doesnt do shit on the court, for a guy his size if u cant get more than 1 reb in over 10 min. and u cant score or block shots, then wtf are u good for? lol
