not really, you can move up from d-league quickly..so if he joins any of the teams, they are linked to one or two NBA teams so their people are always watching the games, all it takes is few good games and they'll call him to their main team. He can literally be called up a week or two later if they like him, which he will stand out cuz he's a center and most likely the tallest guy there.

and hamed didnt wanna play in europe which is why he turned down offers to work out his nba deal

i think he'd be able to go somewhere in the leauge, his agent should be the smart one doing this but its also not good that they give him some random playtime

Lol it's not that easy dude. Most players who have been called up from the D-League have been signed to fill in for injuries/fill out the roster. Not to mention most successful call ups have always been guards. There are some players balling out right now who are yet to be called up by a team.

Trust me, Hamed does NOT want to go to the D-League. There are much better options for him such as going to Europe, playing the FA market, and/or playing in the Las Vegas summer league for an NBA team up front.

to me european leagues are like arab leagues for futbol haha they screw up the players... i rather see him worst case in D-League :P

it's bullshit because he is overrated he's only good at basketball because he is 7'6. He is pretty much just a medical miracle most people over 7 feet can barely walk and it is very hard for them to move this is showing in yao's career now. If i was 7'6 i would be in the nba too

but the point here is that fans are idiot.. it's not about the most popular guy plays, it's about who has contributed and has worked the hardest and i think Nene is a well deserved man to start over Yao. ppl are dumb and waste vote.

K Love and Griffin also deserve to be in there.

Without a doubt, undoubtedly. Keep in mind though, that the STARTERS are the ones picked by the fans. The reserves are all picked via coaches, media...etc.
