Is it just me, or does anybody agree that in this game we played at a much nicer tempo- our build-ups in different parts of the field were very fluid- than what we our getting accustomed to see under the guidance of Ghotbi...??? And this squad was with young players like Jabbari, Hajsafi, and a younger Nouri. As I posted in the past, most of the new faces we see today in TM are thanks to Mr. Daei's wise player selection. Hajsafi's game has deteriorated, but I mean the other players.

I really don't understand the insistence of some on this board that Ghotbi > Daei, when clearly that is NOT the case. The guy had one bad game at the Azadi, which I agree was extremely important, and unfairly got the ax. I tell you, Daei's assistant coach Rutemoeller would put Afshin in his back-pocket..

Hollands 2-0 goal was a gift from Behrang Safari, who basically gave them the goal after a bad throw in. He was substituted during half-time.
