im not sure how the rules work but i think he won 2 silvers in the 2 categories, he never actually got a gold but the overall points of the 2 he came on top of the other 2 guys who won the gold. So the guys who won the gold must have done worse in the other one, like 3rd place or 4th place which is why overall we won
