Iran had so much success with our first serbian coach in 2007 that won us a trophy that after the olympics when he quit the Iran basketball fed was like " let's just hire another serbian he will do equally as good a job." There is a lesson to be learnt from this. SOME SERBS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS.Please watch and Subscribe:

Kazemi with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 stealsOriginally posted by MoJo23 View PostHaddadi finishes with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Kazemi had 13 points, 7 rebounds and a couple of steals.
Great performance by both. Kamrany played well for the most part especially in the first quarter unlike the past 2 games. They need to learn to keep their composure when the other team is in a full court press and cut the turnovers.
But all said and done, well done boys.
Arsalan is also tied for most steals so far (6) in the tournament with Espana's Ricky Rubio.
Haddadi with most blocks (11).

I mean ya were gonna get our asses plowed but it might be good for our rising star kazemi and many haddadi can prove that with playing time he can do good stuffOriginally posted by EKBATAN View Postcan we just forfeit the US game?

tell them the whole team came down with some type of food poisoning

That game was insane!! To bad Brazil didnt win.
Maybe, just maybe, we can stay within 20 points of usa, cause I'm pretty sure after their game against Brazil, they don't feel as dominate anymore, and it certainly didn't do a positive for their team moral.

Afagh was the 3 point specialist.Originally posted by EKBATAN View Postat this rate, we'd be lucky to score more than 40 points on US
haddadi needs a 30 point game and kazemi 20 + we literally have 4-5 people scoring on our team and thats it....i dont know why we dont have a 3 point specialist, a small team like iran needs to atleast have good shooters

im sure he knows already but tell him to inject some of his heart and maturity into the rest of the team, the rest seem to get shaky when pressure is on them, tell them not to be intimitated by US and go all out, be aggressive and dont rush shots and force things.

Ok does arsalan understand how to read English perfectly? or close to it? because I am writing him right now to give him and the team some pointers?

He was first teaqm all freshman in the conference!Originally posted by footballcrazy10 View PostOk does arsalan understand how to read English perfectly? or close to it? because I am writing him right now to give him and the team some pointers?

i will even though i talked to him about half the stuff, he said batcheha yekaam laarzidaan va behdooneh fekr baazi mikardan, they wont make the same mistakeOriginally posted by EKBATAN View Postim sure he knows already but tell him to inject some of his heart and maturity into the rest of the team, the rest seem to get shaky when pressure is on them, tell them not to be intimitated by US and go all out, be aggressive and dont rush shots and force things.
im not friends with the irans coaching staff haha, arsalan is the most fluent english speaker on this national team. for pete sakes he goes to Rice university, basically an IVY League school that is very hard! and hard to get into. he was freshmen of the year this year there!Originally posted by footballcrazy10 View PostOk does arsalan understand how to read English perfectly? or close to it? because I am writing him right now to give him and the team some pointers?
i can tell arsalan anythihng, but i cant worry this guy right now and he's on a strict schedule.. his talk with me was pretty short itself at only 3 minutes long, he barely talked to his own family. keep in mind, arsalan is team melli's youngest player.. you cant have him mend anything in anyone on teams mind. he's just another player.. but he will eventually get all of their attention in the coming years, and it will be him in command, not bahrami, not haddadi. but go ahead and sum something up shortly and ill try to call him late tonight (his early morning)
my biggest hope is that they dont shut down our key threats this week, theyve seen what we can do and also seen our weaknesses.. im hoping for a low scoring game against slovenia and the u.s... hopefully more of our players can be exposed and we can play some awesome D.. it sucks not having afagh lined up at the three and bahrami to cause a shake
