if anybody my man Del Bosque should be praised the MOST for sticking to his conservative approached plan on beating the Germans and not getting suckered into heavy/all out attacking in the second half when it was obvious that germans were clearly the inferior side..!!
even i wanted him to bring a tall striker and go wing heavy in search of the goal in second half..! cause i didnt want the germans to get bailed out in PKs but DB stuck it out with his original plan and they finally broke through, oddly off of a set piece..!! wow..!
