I would categorise him as a SS(striker) or attacking midfielder. The only reason why he plays so good in that lone striker role these days, is because of Barcas midfield and wingers playing the passing football to him. In a way, they keep it compact and do little triangles. However, when a team like Inter comes along, Barca have no plan b..
