Nope, both teams haven't been in Champions League before. It's always been the 'top four' (arsenal,chelsea,liverpool,manchester united).. but seems liverpool dropped out, and Spurs fourth!

Tottenham deserves it, but they really need to improve their squad or they won't last very long in Europe and the EPL together. This is a team that lost 0-2 to Portsmouth a couple weeks ago... but then beats Arsenal and Chelsea...

Man City will be in Champions League though next year. If it wasn't for that bad run under Mark Hughes, they would be in the UCL. But oh my god, was Roque Sante Cruz ineffective. Idk why he was brought in.

And the atmosphere at the stadium was great. Felt like a cup final. And it was a great game too.
