i remember it like it was yesterday when Inter lost at home to PAO 0-1 and tied Anorthosis 3-3 in the easiest CL group in history last year...but Inter is starting to rub off on me I hope they make it to the final

inter should play 6 men back, they have some nice defenders who can attack well too but they should play very defensively

I have this feeling the one goal Inter gave up will seal their faith. Normally 2-0 would be nothing for Barca at home so I am guessing they will win out but then again its football and ANYTHING can happen

i think inter will try to get a goal in, probably early too so that they can just sit back and defend. They'll be foolish to play defensive at the beginning.

It's amusing to see how people wish Inter to lose this game, even predicting the tactics of Mourinho even before the game has started.

I don't think Inter will win tonight, Barcelona is too good. The question is rather if Inter can score a goal in order to still advance to the final in Madrid.

Furthermore, one must remember that allowing Barcelona to play their game is equivalent to suicide. That's why Inter pressed so high in the game last week, making the Barcelona players panic and losing their rhythm. It is not very likely that Inter will try to deliberately defend their two goal lead by having 11 players behind the ball, unless Barcelona plays as fantastic as only they can and in that way paralyze Inter's game completely.

This is a fantastic game and However it ends, it will be a worthy finalist in Madrid in a couple of weeks. Inter and Barcelona have both been fantastic this season (especially Barcelona) and it is impossible to not sympathize with this very special club from Catalonia.

Being an Interista I want to see my team advance to the final game. Last time Inter was in a semi final game in the Champions League, the team was eliminated by AC Milan (which eventually won the trophy that season agains Juventus in the final). Inter were eliminated without losing any of the two legs against Milan, Rossoneri advanced after scoring an "away" goal at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in a game that ended with a draw.

Anyhow, to the match..

I think this has all the ingredients into being a wonderful match, but it can also have the ingredients to being a very, very boring game..
Inter will obviously hold,sit back, and be content with what they have, however, playing 10 behind the ball , could be a dangerous tactic. As you know, Barca will press, pass the ball, keep the ball, and it could be a long night for the Italians.

I think it depends what time Barca score.. If they score early, they will get settled, get the fans ready, then you would fancy them. If Barca don't get a goal in the first half, then I can see Inter Milan winning this tie, but not sure about winning the match.

Inter are dangerous on the break, Maicon and Zanetti will work the flanks, and the tricky Sneijder will give little through balls to Eto'o and Milito to chase. Eto'o will do all he can to show the Nou Camp what a great loss he's been. I don't think Inter have missed Ibra at all, its Barca who miss Eto'o like mad. Cambiasso will just sit infront of the back-four. Break things up, give the simple pass..

It's very hard to predict, but Mourinho will get his players fired up, and I can see them going through.. but just!
