i think most of the transfers will happen after world cup...everyone is too busy preparing for the tournament in a few weeks, its too distracting to discuss club careers rite now

Most clubs would prefer it now, because when they return after World Cup, they can go straight to pre-season.

If you don't get a good pre-season, then join another club, then it will take one long year to adapt properly to the club, no matter how talently gifted you are.

With regards to Cesc, if it doesnt happen this year, it will DEFINITELY happen next year. He wont have any problems fitting in either, he's catalan and was made what he is by barca (i dont care if people say 'arsenal developed him': you cant make an engagement ring out of copper - barca made him into gold,arsenal moulded him,but barca would have moulded him just as well if not better). He plays in Barca's style, he'll fit in no problem

That's bullshit. Barca never sold him, Arsenal gave him a proffesional contract when he was still too young to sign one in spain. They did the same with Fran Merida. He would have been just as good, maybe even better, if he had stayed at Barca.
