also horace grant was not mediocre. He was a top 5 power forward. Toni Kukoc wasn't mediocre. Dennis rodman is the best rebounder this league has seen since the days of wilt. Dennis was da man!!

The only mediocre thing were the bulls opponents in those 6 championship series all of whom would have had their butts whooped by a 2010 boston celtic team or a 2011 spurs/miami/boston team. remember its all relative!

aziz, those are excuses, jordan was 35 when he won his last championship in 98, kobe is only 31 right now, u cant say his prime was 04-07 and phil jackson was both their coach, kobe also enjoyed the same type of good players, bulls really only had pippen as a good player, the rest were mediocre, they just had good chemistry. Kobe played with the most dominant center of all time while jordan never played with a good center. Its true that kobe is the next best so i dont really know what you're arguing against. lol he's just not good when he's on a bad role, he cant escape it, either he's on a good role or a bad one, MJ was able to snap out of it, he hardly had like 2 bad games in a row

Its not age its mileage. Kobe came into the league as an 18 year old. He already has more minutes than MJ in the playoffs. He is 5th among active players in terms of minutes played. and unlike MJ, he never took any time off to rest his body

as you can see Kobe already exceeds MJ in playoff mileage and considering nobody counts those wizard years towards MJ's greatness, Kobe has more minutes in that catagory too and he is only 31!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that takes its toll on your body and we can see the signs from him. There is no rest period for him so the body in the long run will give up faster.

I am still not saying Kobe is better than MJ but to say wade is better than kobe, come on ekki!,

jordan never had to face so much criticism or play with a bunch of d-leagers at the peak of his career. If someone had to plan for a career MJ had it the PERFECT way. when he was young he shot and shot and shot while his game got better and when he reached the top in terms of potential he got surrounded by great teammates and a great coach. Kobe at his peak in 04 through 07 had to play with a bunch of rookies and players who are not even in the league anymore cuz they weren't good enough to even be on the bench and then HE got criticized for it
and Wade more indifferent not calm. There is a difference!! To him its not important if he is the best player in the league. To Kobe and MJ it was all that mattered

Kobe definitely cant play good if u put a good defender on him, if a player sticks to him, he wont make his shots and will get frustrated. If he doesnt figure out how to fix this then i doubt lakers will win another championship this year.
