Somehow I don't see Jeff Tedford pulling this kind of childish stunt and then being all giddy about it like a 4 year old (I'm a Cal fan by the way so I don't have any feelings about UCLA-USC one way or another, but I despise people who win without class). For a team/program as great as USC is and was, I can't believe that their coach continuously taunts other teams in blowouts, and then has the temerity to whine and be upset when other teams do it to him (i.e. Jim Harbaugh a couple of weeks ago), especially since Carroll has done this many times over the years. I bet Steve Spurrier would be so proud....

I agree with the bolded part above, neuheisel is an idiot, but two wrongs don't make a right, and carroll is infamous for doing such low class moves late in games to rub it in, many times unprovoked I might add.

54 seconds left to play with THREE timeouts is an eternity in american football. What kind of message are you sending your team the future recruits if you give up?? YOu have to go down fighting. If had called a timeout with 10 seconds left then I would have agreed with you. A fumble return and a onside kick could have tied the game with 54 seconds left. Yeah I agree that is VERY VERY IMPROBABLE but not impossible and as long as it is not impossible you should show your players that you have faith in them

Pete carroll is the biggest ass college football has seen since the days of steve spurrier at university of florida. Him going for that touchdown just showed how insecure he feels about where his program (who got THRASHED by both Oregon and stanford)

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT. There is a reason Jim Harbaugh went for two. Carroll has been acting like an ass for 7 years and any of the Pac 10 coaches who get a chance, are gonna go after him and they are gonna ago after him HARD. Chip Kelly's demolition of USC towards the end of the game is another example of how Pac 10 coaches are tired of his classless act and its just go0nna get worse for him as the USC program is on the way down while most pac 10 programs are getting better including us.

Pete Carroll was pissed at Jim Harbaugh because he got some of his own medicine, he's a prick as persianbruin (who has a lot more exposure than me) pionted out and a very classless coach

I always knew pete wasn't a good coach. He just had good coordinators and exceptional talent. I guess he knows it too. He was exposed this year and left while some idiots in the north west thought of him as a "good" coach!

This is a sad day for the bruin nation. We were on the path of getting even with him
