Have you even seen Portugal playing in this WCQ? For God sake they played 0-0 at home against Albania who were one man down in the entire second half. So how is it impossible? And Ireland were pressuring Italy for a long time before Gilardino scored the equalizer and send them to the WC. France have been playing like shit in this WCQ. Greece and Ukraina will be also 50-50. The only favourite who will go through are Russia.

Many people here underestimate small teams. Maybe they are favourites in the papers and have better players. But the question is: how well are big teams like Portugal and France performing these days?

Its doesnt matter the big teams will usually step up in crucial times when they have to win.
Sure the smaller teams are going to give everything but France and Portugal are possible WC candidates to win it let alone qualifying.
The form they take to WC will not affect their WC performance at all.

i think greece can win i just dont wanna jinx it...but besides russia (even though i dont doubt slovenia) any team can upset, france would be a lock for sure if it werent for their garbage teamwork and management and i can definitely see bosnia upsetting portugal
