I think that the Jazz will catch sacremento and get the 8th seed for the playoffs.
Mehmot Okur used to be a bench warmer for the pistons 2 years ago and he is starting to become a really good player in Utah.
Also Amir, do you know if the Jazz have any games left with the kings this season?
Btw, Congratz on beating the pistons twice this year, thats pretty rare to do with the way the pistons are playing.

I know it was good beating them and no we dont play the Kings anymore this season we played our last game with them last week at home and lost 91-89 (we were 18-40 free throws! ) and we only won 1 this year vs. them and they won 3 so if we tie THEY get in!!! and yes I love Okur man, he has such a soft shot! 6'11'' and he shoots the 3 like Miller used to!

Wade- Has shaq
Kobe- Had shaq when he won the title and now he has odom and parker. They arent that good, but they are better than what Iverson has. But Kobe never even passes to them because he is a selfish ballhog.
McGrady- has yao.
Duncan- Has Ginobili, Parker, had Robinson.

Allen Iverson has NOBODY and has never had anybody. Dont tell me chris webber because he sucks now. Yet he still averages like 8 assists per game, unlike Bryant, who only cares about his scoring.

OK where to begin?!

1.McGrady NOW has Yao, BEFORE he proved himself as a good player in ORLANDO by HIMSELF and in Toronto with only Carter (who was usually injured when T-Mac was shining anyways) and even today ALL he has is Yao, Iverson has Webber, Korver, Iguadala, Dalembert etc. so shut up about that, now lets compare there numbers this season real quick...

T-Mac: 24.5 pts, 6.5 rebs, 5 assts, 1.3 steals, 1 block a game
Iverson: 32.8 pts, 3.4 rebs, 7.5 assts, 2 steals, 3.4 turnovers!

-similar numbers except pts, obviously since Yao avgs 23 T-Mac hardly touches the ball as much as he used to, ALSO let me note that Iverson averages 43mins a game and T-Mac only 36mins


2.DONT compare Duncan to Iverson! they play much different positions but as a whole player Duncan is better because he can be dominant at BOTH ends of the floor! and you say Parker and Ginobili? they werent there when he brought the first titles there to San Antonio only a old Robinson who contributed but not as much as the young Duncan. Duncan is a multiple champion, Iverson only got to the Finals once, no comparison.

3.Arenas has Jameson? WTF??? if your going to consider him as a big talented player then there is NO way you are leaving out the young and talented Iguadala who is all over the floor, Dalembert down low, Korver running around hitting 3's opening up space, and I dont care how much his games lowered Webber still is a good player! man you are such a hipocrit! but I do have to agree Iverson might have the edge over Arenas of all out of my list but he is right there with him, and he knows how to win.

4.Carmelo, ok this guy is still young and rising and Iverson might have the edge over him at the moment and its your only valid point, but he will rise and become better than Iverson in my opinion just wait and see.

5.Again Yao cannot be compared to Iverson! and if YOU think they should even compare (which Im assuming you do, since you already compared them) then YOU my friend need some serious help! seriously this guy is like a foot and a half taller than Iverson!!! and again as a whole player who wouldnt take a HUGE player who can dominate both ends, score, block, pass, run etc.

6.Last but certainly not least...Kobe Kobe Kobe, I personally hate the guy but dont compare them, this guy is Iverson times 2!!! plain and simple. You could say Odom, even though I consider him only a little above average but WTF Parker? the rookie? who still dont know shit and starts because they have no one else??? face it without Kobe they wouldnt even win 20 games, he SINGLE-HANDEDLY brought them to the playoffs. Kobe is a champion who can TAKE CONTROL of a game which Iverson only used to be able to do now he cant, Iverson just keeps shooting to keep his stats up only sitting down 5 minutes a game....Kobe SHOULD shoot with the shot he's got and NO he doesnt JUST care about points his stats are 35pts, 6rebs, 6.5assts, 1.5steals thats more than just points dummy, oh and 81 POINTS??? Conclusion: Iverson is NO longer the player he used to be! he can no longer take control of a game and lead his team to victory! Im sorry but its the truth just face it, his team is choking and will drop out of the playoffs most likely and you are using an excuse he has nobody when in fact he is surrounded by talent this year!!! Look at these players: Robinson, Parker, Jackson (great shooter), Bowen (best defender in the NBA), Malik Rose (extremely efficient player), Speedy Claxton, Manu, Steve smith, and Steve Kerr (one of the best shooters of all-time). You could have put me in there instead of duncan and we still would have competed for a title. A lot of those players were gone for the 3rd title, but by that time, Parker and manu had emerged as SUPERSTARS. That is a team with 3 superstars, and they were the only team like that, which is why they won the title, not just because of Duncan. And his stats were never THAT good.

5. Yao- You say he dominates, does this, does that, if this is true, then why does his team suck, even when he is paired up with tracy mcgrady, who according to you is one of the top 2-3 players in the NBA?
6. Kobe has never WON anything without Shaq and the only FULL year without him, he missed the playoffs. Now this year, they seemed to have made it, but barely. In 2000-2001, Iverson, with nobody on his team, led the sixers to the finals AND the best record in the east and I think the NBA that year. Also Kobe, a shooting guard, has more turnovers per 48 minutes than Iverson, a POINT GUARD! Bryant has 4.5 assists per game, 3 less than iverson, which equals 6 points per game, and only averages 2 more points per game, so iverson contributes to 4 more points per game than kobe. And this is like the first year EVER that kobe has more points per game than AI, so he really isnt even better than him in that sense. So I dont see anyway that you can say that Kobe is better than Iverson.

And you keep bringing up Iversons support. Yes, on good days, they are good. But I dont think they have ever had even 3 of those players have a good day at the same time. Take the recent sixers-pacers game, for example. You have 4 supporting players; webber, iguodala, korver, and dalembert
webber- 24, good, but only 5 rebounds. You are the power forward, and you can only pull down 5 rebounds? And only 3 assists for the supposed best passing big man in the NBA? Still, 24 points is good, so we have 1 player so far that stepped up.
Iguodala- 6 points, 5 turnovers
Korver- 8 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist
Dalembert- 2 points on 1-11 shooting! 1-11!!!!!!!!! You dont move 2 feet away from the hoop, and you make one shot out of 11!!??

Few games before that when iverson was injured:

Webber- 21 points, decent, but not really when you consider iverson wasnt there, and he only shot 7-21.
Iguodala- 20 points, finally, a good game
Korver- 1-7 on 3 pointers from this amazing 3 point shooter
Dalembert- 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists. Way to make your presence felt, big guy.
Now, 1 game before iverson got injured vs denver, iverson had 38 btw
Webber- only 14 points but a lot of rebounds

Those are all solid, consistent players. Philadelphia doesnt have 1 solid, consistent player on there roster, except iverson. regarding the Knicks.....
Larry brown is an excellent coach, the only problem is that he has a certain way of coaching and players must be vetarans and too experienced to understand his style and system.....sure he wants to build these youngsters from the root, but some of them just might not get it.....
but he is an excellent coach...
what the knicks need to do is stop having marbury get people envolved and just let him break ankles and drive to the whole which he does at will......

but what about the previous year where he took them to the playoffs all by himself and went down the stretch with the hornets?
what about the year where they almost beat the Pistons where they were up 3-1 in the series....

Tracy McGrady has proven himself and he is in the right team with the right coach right now (my favorite head coach)
they are the unluckiest team this year with all the injuries....
once they get their roster back next season they will be the top 4 teams in the west for sure....

Ive been a flip murray fan ever since i first saw him play in seattle. I didnt say that because of one or 2 games, flip murray is an excellent player. And you cant say that lebron has taken the cavs to the playoffs by himself when he has an ALL STAR CENTER! And i never said that those players were good, i said they were solid, these players wont go 1-20 like some of the players on the sixers. The sixers had some solid players in their championship run, but nobody that can score much at all. Look at the first game in the nba finals that year when the sixers beat the lakers (who hadnt lost in the playoffs up to that point; they had swept every series)
Here was the point totals of their players:
4, 4, 13, 9, 0,13,9, 0
and iverson had 48. They had players that were pretty solid and could do little things, like the caveliers this year, but nobody that could score, like lebron has, yet not to long ago people were talking about them maybe dropping out of the playoffs because they were struggling so much. And the reason why iverson hasnt gotten many triple doubles is because HE IS 6'0'' TALL! How are you going to get that many rebounds with guys who are a foot taller than you on the floor? Lebron is 6'8"!
And i said eric snow was a SOLID player, and I never said that the 2000-2001 team didnt have any solid players. I said they didnt have any really good players. And I said that snow was a solid player because i was comparing them to the sixers, who have zero solid players NOW, yet not too long ago before iverson got injured, they were only 1.5 games out of 3rd place in the east.
Then you say tracy mcgrady's scoring isnt high because of the coaching. So is the coach telling him to shoot 40%?
"Who cares how good Robinson was?" WHAT? Robinson is one of the greatest centers in NBA history! He was at his prime when they one the first championship; that is a superstar playing next to duncan. They wouldnt have gotten that far if it werent for Robinson. When they won last year, they had 2 SUPERSTARS playing with him, Manu and Parker, and the best defender in the NBA in Bowen. When you have 3 superstars, anything short of a championship would be a failure. Then the middle one, that was just a great team. They had great players everywhere, manu, parker, bowen, robinson, kerr... of course they wouldnt be as good without duncan, he is a great player, but he couldnt have done it by himself, he never has done it by himself, and he could never do it by himself if he had to. Duncan has just been blessed with great teammates.

Ive been a flip murray fan ever since i first saw him play in seattle. I didnt say that because of one or 2 games, flip murray is an excellent player. And you cant say that lebron has taken the cavs to the playoffs by himself when he has an ALL STAR CENTER! And i never said that those players were good, i said they were solid, these players wont go 1-20 like some of the players on the sixers. The sixers had some solid players in their championship run, but nobody that can score much at all. Look at the first game in the nba finals that year when the sixers beat the lakers (who hadnt lost in the playoffs up to that point; they had swept every series)
Here was the point totals of their players:
4, 4, 13, 9, 0,13,9, 0
and iverson had 48. They had players that were pretty solid and could do little things, like the caveliers this year, but nobody that could score, like lebron has, yet not to long ago people were talking about them maybe dropping out of the playoffs because they were struggling so much. And the reason why iverson hasnt gotten many triple doubles is because HE IS 6'0'' TALL! How are you going to get that many rebounds with guys who are a foot taller than you on the floor? Lebron is 6'8"!
And i said eric snow was a SOLID player, and I never said that the 2000-2001 team didnt have any solid players. I said they didnt have any really good players. And I said that snow was a solid player because i was comparing them to the sixers, who have zero solid players NOW, yet not too long ago before iverson got injured, they were only 1.5 games out of 3rd place in the east.
Then you say tracy mcgrady's scoring isnt high because of the coaching. So is the coach telling him to shoot 40%?
"Who cares how good Robinson was?" WHAT? Robinson is one of the greatest centers in NBA history! He was at his prime when they one the first championship; that is a superstar playing next to duncan. They wouldnt have gotten that far if it werent for Robinson. When they won last year, they had 2 SUPERSTARS playing with him, Manu and Parker, and the best defender in the NBA in Bowen. When you have 3 superstars, anything short of a championship would be a failure. Then the middle one, that was just a great team. Again you are using other players to give credit to and Duncan sucks right? You dont get an MVP award because you have 2 "stars" around you, and for your sake we'll call Parker and Manu "stars" even though they are just above average players in my opinion....also realize Iverson does get star treatment and almost half his points are from the free throw line, anyways Im tired of arguing the same points with you so case closed nucca.

One other thing real quick....if the Rockets have "good players" and T-Mac doesnt have much of an effect then why are they 5-21 without him? huh??? thats what I thought. Also out of the top ten scorers in the league only Iverson and Pierce will not be taking there teams to the playoffs (considering sixers will choke, as expected imo) Now you know what I mean about "taking control", it refers to winning in case you didnt know.
