Egypt actually got lucky Italy had a bad game. They just had a few build ups from counters and thats it, the rest of the game was 11 man defense. This italy team has great potential but they just can't find their rhythm yet. If they do that by the world cup, they'll be unstoppable. It's possibly the curse of the doo doo brown shorts. LOL

I don't agree with this. The Italian players and coaches themselves think they had a good game. Egypt had several chances to score again and just made an extra pass too many at the end of the attack. Italy had a number of shots on target and our keeper stopped them, that's not luck, he's part of our team.

Thanks for all the support by the way. And Iron Ghost, I'm still celebrating ! Definitely historic beating the world champs. A little sad we didn't come away with at least a point against Brazil (I think we played better against them than we did vs. Italy), but this made up for it.

I just hope we can buckle down and concentrate on beating the U.S. Egypt is the most inconsistent team in the world :-/

It sure is. Never claimed it was lucky. Our attack wasn't as good as it was against Brazil, but our defense pulled an Italy . If we talk about luck I could argue that 5+ minutes of injury time was excessive, or that the ref was too liberal with the yellow cards against us.

i hate ur team now why did they have to show their best game against my team? why couldnt u beat brazil fukkers? lol j/k.....italy deserved to lose that game cuz of bad finishing...but u gotta admit they were unlucky too cuz alot of the chances were 100%

lol that la gazetto dello sport issue was funny, na bro i said before the game i dun care if they tie or whatever i respect egypt. but man italy played bad, were not organized and lippi needs to sort that out, also we need cassano, we have no creativity if pirlo is off then the team is off. anyways they gotta sort themselves out for wc next year
