man, u guys paid 30 million for a defender who had only proven himself in the portugueese league and brought to him a much stronger league. that too a defender, and u r still having a lot of problems in defense!Originally posted by milad View Postwhat do you mean. he is one of the best strikers in the league and pepe is one of the best center backs in the world. i would say pretty even.
not that his attitude is anything worth of praising.
we paid 30 million for a striker (usually strikers and attacking midfielders are more expensive than defenders) who has already proven himself consistently in the same league that we are bringing.
and he doesnt have the attitude problems pepe has.
not that i think it was a silly move by bayern management (unless he turns out to be another gerd muller or atleast another klinsman), but its a much safer, and less inflated deal than real madrid's pepe!

sorry but i disagree. our defense sucked so we brought in a defender. so what if he was brought to a stronger league... did he fail? no. he was a success and is one of the best center backs in the "stronger league" and has helped our defense. yes our defense is still has problems at times but as far as pepe the one man is concerned he was mostly solid and consistent.Originally posted by yashar_fasihnia View Postman, u guys paid 30 million for a defender who had only proven himself in the portugueese league and brought to him a much stronger league. that too a defender, and u r still having a lot of problems in defense!
