Our world is f'ed, that is why we see kids on the street all around the world playing football, and the fact is those kids who live in the worst conditions play and grow their talent more. so this was the so called battle of italian and english clubs to see who is better right? the epl is a better league then the serie A and i always knew that i didnt need to see this to say it. I just want to clarify this to all iranians.pakistanis,arabs,chineese basically everyone who isnt english. dont start saying italians suck again or spanish sucks bla bla because look at manchester united. they have 3 or 4 guys from england, same as chelsea arsenal and liverpool, and italian teams have about 3 or 4 italians to the squad. the only reason why english league is better, is because of the POUND they have the money to buy the best players, where only milan and inter can do that in italy. You cant say that Englands football team is better then italys. just read the stats.
AND we all know that if milan was in the CL this yr theyd take out all the english teams single handidly.
PS juve and roma are rebuilding while inter is just inter, a shame

very true, milan is the only team to take out man united, liverpool, arsenal.. we have the fire power to do it. we don't play good against other defensive italian teams that play the long ball.. but bring on the top world class football clubs and we'll nail them out for you

mid-table english clubs dont fare particularly well in european competition...everton eliminated by liege this season, blackburn by larissa last years UEFA cup, portsmouth mediocre UEFA cup display along with Everton's..and a heap of other examples..but the big 3 (sometimes 4) do very well

but your liklier to see a team like Udinese or Getafe fare far better than mid-table english sides in european competitions...remember Sevilla was once just a regular team..and they wont back to back UEFA cups

The Football League and its rules have been around many years before the people who thought of FIFA were even born.

I expect FIFA to either accept the Home Nations demand, or at least have a nice long debate.

And even if the 6+5 rule must have 'English only', I think we can easily cope than Chelsea, Arsenal, and of course the Scousers.

The 6+5 rule will work perfectly for United.

But I am sure the Home Nations will come and force FIFA to make the 'home grown' players in EPL to include Scottish, Welsh, and Irish (Northern & the Republic) as well because that has always been the case with the Football League and Premier League for more than 100+ years.

arsenal and inter are the two major culprits here, their entire starting squad are all foreigners pretty much

la liga teams do field many spanish players..as do many italian teams, personally im not too impressed with englands up and comers, spain and italy are producing far better talents IMO

lol what are you talking about? germans already have almost all germans on their teams so nothing will change. italians? they would remain the same. every italian team would have 5 foreign attackers and all italians in defense.
spanish teams are already the strongest with most teams being all spanish or at least have 6 starters so spain would then UNDENIABLY be the best league in the world. and real madrid and barcelona would benefit too... we have so many youth team products who would be amazing if they got a chance/were focused on more.
but the 6+5 rule is retarded. no team has a fixed 11. so what every game you have to field at least 6 from your own country? that would mess up tactics and positions so badly, specially when a team has injuries. it should be like each team is allowed only 7 foreign players or something like that.

thats exactly why i said germans will benefit most from it, because other opponents will have to start using less foreigners while the germans wont have this problem.

same for italians, hence they will benefit as well, except for inter milan...

spaniards, real madrid is gonna get screwed, none of ur products are actually good enough at the moment to compete at the highest level, infact, with all these non-spaniards also ur not doing well, wat happens if u lose them and replace them with inexperienced youngsters from ur youth teams...

and in EPL,,,, arsenal, liverpool and chelsea will face big problems...

so, again, italians and germans will benefit the most because their opponents will be weakened, not because the italians or germans will become stronger...
