Persiantiger, Im likin what uve said bout the machida fight.. I thought Machida won it as well.. really his style made him lose through the judges.. I wish he had just finished it in the 3rd.. maybe if he had not gone for the armbar and just kept tryin to ground n pound he couldve?
anyways I cant wait for WEC 53 when Kamals fighting.. and GSP ***CHECK fight for ufc 124.. good shit

Hell ya that is going to be good shit and GSP is going to beat ***check he is a better fighter than that guy. I personally don't like ***check I think he's kind of a punk and I would love to see GSP put him in his place. I like the fact that GSP is so humble he never trash talks and he always gives love to his opponents.

I am with you I think the armbar really hurt Mechida because if he would of continued to ground and pound, he definately would of been awarded more points. The problem with Karate is that it is very defensive and defensive fighters by naturs, like Mechida, get put at a disadvantage. Judges want to see who is the aggressor and in a close fight that might be just enough for Rampage to steal the win.

I will say this much to Rampage though. #1 He didn't act like a jacka$$ this time and raised Mechida's hand. #2 He admitted, "Mechida whopped my a$$." This is a complete 180 from the Rampage I saw talking $hit to Rashad Evans(By the way go Michigan State ), and look what happened. I think he learned his lesson.

I think everyone would love to see a rematch between Mechida and Rampage.

Ya first off, GSP will kick kschecks ass.. hes such a punk.. He can be funny but hes a complete douche while GSP is really humble, nice, and educated about the game. Its funny how usually the guys are who like that usually end up being better coaches in ultimate fighter.. and better fighters.. the ones for show just sell obviously..

A rematch wouldn't be bad, but idk if its just gonna happen. Dana does not seem to keen and I think its bc of their conflicting styles they have.. maybe later on... I really cant see Rampage fighting shogun tho.. if he beats rashad.. hes just not there yet.. he needs at least 2 more wins to do get there. and ya I really liked his attitude.. Rampage showness is actually funny at times but I really liked how he acted after he won. much respect

Yep I couldn't of said it better myself. Kscheck is a funny guy nad I probably wouldn't mind going out to the bar and have a beer with him, but he is kind of a douschebag. Let's just say he si not the kind of guy I would introduce as my friend to say some important business guy.

Like you said GSP is a very respectful guy and like you said the fighters who are calm are usually the best coaches. Look at Dan Henderson he is another calm and cool guy. Bisbing on the other hand reminded me of Kscheck the dude that just keeps running his mouth. Well look what happened, Dan Henderson in my book was the better coach(Bisbing just had the better fighters in my book) and he knocked Bisbing out. Now as for GSP I think he is going to be cool, calm and collective in the fight and Kscheck is going to be full of energy and wild. Now sometimes that can work for you and you get the big knockout hit but most of the time you end up getting popped hard.

I too don't think Rampage is going to have a rematch with Mechida and I honeslty think Showgun would take Rampage to school. Of course I am biased you know me I love my jujitsu guys. Do you think there would be a rematch between Rashad and Rampage? I think Rampage has problems against the wrestling/ju jitsu style fighters because he tries to go for that knockout punch. That is why I think a guy like Showgun would take Rampage to school. He is more suited for fighting guys like "ICEMAN" back in the day. The dudes who just stand and want to brawl are a perfect fit for Rampage. That is just my observation of him.

You know I am not saying I am a badas$ fighter that is going to step into the octagon but I can handle myself because I have some jujitsu training and some karate back when I was a kid. When I go to a party I am never worred about the dude who is constantly running his mouth becasue I always think to myself the dude who constantly runs his mouth is obviously insecure and weak.

The dude that I am always worried about is the quiet guy. He's the one you should worry about becasue you never know when he is going to errupt and you know nothing about him because he is just the quiet one.

I like to see ***check actually do something useful tho bc its no fun if one fighter completely dominates the whole fight. But GSP will for sure win. I just hope its a good one.
Ya for rampages next fight, I would like to see like jon jones fight him.. and the winner of that fights for the title.. Jon jones is fighting ryan bader.. but I have a feelin jones is gonna beat him. I really like jones hes so unorthodox and athletic its ridiculous.
And ya that is so true.. the guys who run their mouths and talk smack usually cant back it up. I feel just like U im the quite guy. I do mma and have done bbjj and muai thai, and wrestling in high school. But im not the type of guy to get into conflict with anybody. I love it for the sport and im not lookin to beat up shittalkers for the hell of it

I like John Jones as well an those unorthadox fighters are usuall the toughest to beat becuse they don't have a specific style. You have proven to me that you are a matur guy. I have never sudied Maui Thai but I would like to one day. BJJ is more of my comfort level but hey I agee with you man 100%. I always find that the guy wo runs his mouth is usually the weakest one. It takes a man who can avoid conflict, especially when that man knows he can beat the living snot out of the othe guy.

Jones Bader is going to be a good fight. As for GSP and ***cech I too hope that it will be a good fight. Those one sided fights or quick knockouts are no fun lik BJ Penn knocking out Matt Hughes in the first min of the fight. I was actually looking forward o that fight.

Well I gues only time will tell the beauty of MMA though is tha anything could happe. I honestly didn't think Cain Valasquez would of domnate Brock Lesner but he did. You just never know that is the beauty of this spot. On any given day an underdog can rise up and kock out a legend with a lucky punch, kick, armbar, etc.

I had no doubt , I knew from the start he was about to fight shogun that he was going to win . This is kid is abosoulty incredible with his long reach , great wrestling and crazy strikes that he has , I don't see why he couldn't beat his good friend that he is going to fight soon rashad evans !
