messi didnt win it only because he played for a crap team. i mean every single time his team won it was because of him, while crystiana scored unnecessary goals that increased his teams lead. but one player can only do so much. is this supposed to be an individual award or a team award?

crystiana scored 31 goals in the EPL last year (15 from penalties and freekicks, the rest from horrible defensive mistakes and counterattacks while united were already winning by 2/3 goals, maybe 5 proper goals the whole season) which means he scored more than only derby county.

yet if he played for any of those teams he would have scored 2 goals from open play in the whole season.
