He went through all of this to be able to get Ocho Cinco on his jersey and now he's not even allowed
He had to keep it "JOHNSON" because apparently he didn't notify the NFL of the name change on time. The NFL has a contractual agreement with Reebok, who already printed Chad "JOHNSON" jerseys for the season.
There may be a way out if he buys back all the JOHNSON jerseys from Reebok.
