Alizadeh won the bronze at the Olympics in Paris and the gold at the European Championship after being granted asylum in Bulgaria. It should be mentioned that Kimia Alizadeh was born into an Azerbaijani family in Karaj in 1988. In Iranian womens sports and taekwondo, she has set six national and international records.
