I thought I start a thread for Iran and iranians in martial arts. The intent is to gather everything about martial arts except hybrid style like MMA and Olympic wrestling in one place.

what a piss poor performance by our taekwondo team in the world championship. only 1 gold and 1 bronze.

Ridiculous, many people are blaming Hadi Saei

iran finishes with 3 medals in total all in Men section. 1 gold 1 bronze and 1 silver. The female team sucked big time.

Korea wins the team championship and iran finishes 2nd.

Do not let the 2nd place fool you, we underperformed big time.
