Although they took it at the time, Coach Terim and golden players like Adra Turan made sure that after the first loss, they would not accept defeat. And after beating the Swiss hosts 2-1, it was clear that Terim and Turan and others involved were successful.
With only one match won, they continued to battle for another win. In a 1 or 2 goal deficit, the Turks still overtook the Czechs, in the last 15 minutes.
As if we would ever doubt them, but again against Croatia, with a 90 minute match with extra time all sealed up at 1 all, they came through.
The Turks took it in penalty shots; a 3-1 final score!

Many doubt if Turkey can put up the same tactics and technique against Germany. But after no losses following Portugal's win, they can provide the Germans with a defeat.
