what happened? 1- kaka lost some form, 2- Ronaldo and Ronaldinho are injured.

and they barely defeated Canada 3-2 in a friendly a week ago or so...

teams need inspiration and motivation... sometimes it comes from a player, sometimes the coach and sometimes it's just luck

plus when you are crowned world champions, highly respected by everyone and fearsome for 8 years in a row... there's not much more to accomplish and not much motivation to do better while all other teams want to prove themselves by beating you... so life gets tough

quarterfinals is not the same as 2nd round. There are a lot of crappy teams in the second round that play group winners such as Brazil

okay well yea if they play against like Ukraine or Ghana like last time then yea okay they might get past the 2nd round but if they have to play netherlands or spain....then i dont see them moving up ....usually u only have a couple of crappy teams that move up to the 2nd round unless there is an upset like last world cup the crappy teams were ecuador ukraine and ghana the rest of them were fairly good ...good enough to beat a 2008 brazil

well i dont know if you know that last world cup they didnt get past the quarterfinals and they were much better than they are now...right now they are 5th in world cup qualifications and lost to paraguay 2-0 today and paraguay had a 10 man team for half the game so if u think they will get past the 2nd round good for u maybe am wrong and miraculously they do much better than right now but from what ive been seeing its not looking convincing

LIKE everyteam at a certian time they go through a transition stage like italy, France and England and Iran right now but with hte support of their fans they'll get back into it and the beauty of soccer is that any team can beat any team its usaully a fair game we saw Turkey beat Czech today stuff like this happens alot of times.
